Making your own powerpoint template...

is easier than you think. Some of you may already have done this. I discovered how to do it last year, and since then I have enjoyed making my own customized templates. I can make my presentations a little more interesting. I am currently working on my fall booktalks, so I have a new one---Crime Story. Here is a link to the template on Google docs so you can use it. When I finish the presentation, I will post that as well. I have a lot of students who enjoy crime and mystery reading, so I decided that our September displays and the fall book talks would follow this theme.
Back to making your own template. All you have to do is switch the view to slide master. Then you can make the different slide layouts look however you want to for your template. You can then save the template if it is one you want to use again. You just save as powerpoint template. Have fun with this!
