How was your first week?

Well, it is the first week back at school for most of us here in Texas. Things have gone pretty well so far. I did not rerun my beginning of the year checklist, but if you want to see it from last year, here is a link to that older post. Now here is something new for you! I have redone my collaboration map. This is where I keep track of research units that teachers bring their clases into the library for. Here is a copy for you if you would like to use it. This way, I can know ahead of time what units might be coming up, and I can ask teachers about them. The first year, I fill it in as I go, after that I just make changes, but it provides a great planning tool to help me stay on top of the schedule and when teachers may be doing certain units. It also works as a collection development tool. Use it in good health!
